This attachment applies to all products containing alcohol, including beer, wine, drink packages and
gift packages that contain alcohol.
4. Flexible financing options
For online alcohol sales, it must be documented how age verification is carried out upon delivery. The NVWA can check whether the age verification and the secured procedure are in order.
Practically, I would create a short internal document for this with:
● How the webshop verifies 18+;
● How alcohol products are made recognizable;
● Which shipping method is used;
● How the delivery person or pickup staff verifies age;
● What happens in case of doubt;

When selling alcohol online, age must be verified before completing the ordering process. The customer must perform an active action themselves for this purpose, for example, by entering their date of birth or checking a box to state that he or she is 18 years of age or older.
3. Verification upon delivery or pickup
Alcoholic products are only handed over to a person aged 18 or older.
In case of doubt, identification will be requested.
If age cannot be verified, the order will not be handed over.
