Material and finish The board is made from selected pine wood treated with a food-safe varnish. This layer prevents fats and juices from penetrating the fibres directly, supporting good hygiene. The fittings are made from steel with a scratch-resistant epoxy coating. This black finish protects against salts and acids, allowing the holder to retain its well-kept appearance even after intensive use.

Fixing and grip The Vesubio uses an effective two-point fixing system. On the underside, a sharp centre point locks the ham at the base, while the adjustable screw clamp at the leg provides an unshakeable hold. Thanks to the rubber anti-slip feet under the base, your worktop remains protected and the holder stands rock-solid on any surface.

User advice

• Care: Clean the wooden base after use with a damp cloth and occasionally rub the wood with a drop of vegetable oil to prevent drying out.

• Knife choice: Combine this holder with a flexible ham knife of 25 cm or 30 cm from the Brouwhoeve Jamon knives for the very best results.

• Safety: Before each slicing session, check whether the locking screws are properly tightened to prevent the ham from shifting.
