Taste The opening in the mouth is lively and full-bodied. You experience an engaging interplay between the soft fruity start and a characteristic bitterness on the mid-palate. The texture is rich and enveloping, speaking of an oil with a high concentration of healthy nutrients.

Finish A powerful and persistent finish. In the throat, you experience a clear, pleasant peppery tingle. This peppery kick is characteristic of a fresh Picual blend and points to a high content of natural polyphenols.

Serving tips & uses

• Warm preparations: Thanks to the stability of the Picual olive, this oil is excellent for gently sautéing vegetables or marinating meat and fish.

• Gastronomy: Perfect over a hearty bean soup, grilled red meat or a salad with strong flavours such as rocket and aged cheese.

• Dipper: Enjoy Serrata Black in its purest form by dipping a good piece of bread into the oil with a pinch of our Coarse Sea Salt.
