Solid construction The base plate is made from a thicker selection of pine wood than average, resulting in a lower centre of gravity. The steel is finished with a heat-resistant epoxy layer in matt black, which not only gives a modern look but also forms an effective shield against acids and salts from the ham.

Fixing & grip The fittings are equipped with razor-sharp locking pins on the underside that secure the ham at the bottom, while the upper clamp grips the leg firmly. This two-point system guarantees that no millimetre of play develops. Assembly is intuitive and, thanks to the simple structure, the holder can be cleaned quickly with a dry or lightly damp cloth.

User advice

• Care: Rub the wooden board occasionally with a little vegetable oil to nourish the wood and help prevent staining.

• Placement: Thanks to the rubber feet on the underside, the Everest can be used safely on both granite and wooden worktops without leaving scratches.
